We have some news to share: our Facebook page, previously known as Football 24, is now Art 24. The change is more than a new name. It is a way to make our identity match the creative content and ideas we want this space to represent.

Why we made the change

Football 24 was the name that many of you first came to know. But a name focused on football does not fully describe a page that wants to explore art, visual inspiration, design, culture and the creativity we notice in everyday life.

As our interests and the stories we share have grown, we felt it was time for a name with more room to breathe. Art 24 is shorter, clearer and better suited to the wider range of content you can expect from us.

What you can expect from Art 24

We'll be sharing inspiring artworks, interesting creative ideas, colorful design, visual discoveries and reflections on how art connects to the world around us. Sometimes that means a striking painting or a street mural; other times it might be a thoughtful photograph, a simple object or an artist's story.

Our goal is to make art feel approachable and worth exploring—whether you already follow the art world or simply enjoy seeing something beautiful, original or thought-provoking in your feed.

A new name, the same community

If you followed us as Football 24, we're glad you're here. This new chapter isn't about forgetting where we started. It's about giving the page an identity that better reflects where we're going.

Thank you for being part of the journey. Welcome to Art 24—a place to discover, appreciate and share creativity, every day.

Color is often the first thing we notice about a work of art. A soft blue can make a composition feel peaceful, while an unexpected flash of orange can fill it with energy. Colors may not tell the whole story, but they set its tone.

Feeling before meaning

Artists use color to create contrast, suggest movement and direct our attention. Two shapes can look completely different depending on the shades around them. A muted palette invites a slower look; a bold one can demand to be seen.

There is no universal rule that one color must mean one emotion. Our memories and cultural experiences shape what colors mean to us, which is part of what makes looking at art so personal.

Try looking a little longer

Next time you see an image that catches your eye, imagine it in black and white. What changes? What would happen if the artist swapped its warm colors for cool ones? Thinking about these small choices can reveal how much storytelling happens without a single word.

A painted wall, a mosaic staircase or a small illustration beside a shop door can transform the way we experience a city. Public art meets us where we are—on walks, on commutes and in the places we visit every day.

Art that belongs to the street

Unlike art displayed in a gallery, a mural shares space with traffic, buildings, weather and the people passing by. It becomes part of the neighborhood's visual identity, and over time, it may become a familiar landmark.

Street art can be playful, beautiful, challenging or deeply personal. Some works celebrate local communities; others raise questions or simply bring color to a blank surface.

A different way to explore

On your next walk, pay attention to the details you'd normally pass without noticing. Look for painted doors, creative signs, patterns, stickers and murals. The city may have more to say than you expected.

We often imagine art as something extraordinary: a famous painting, a grand sculpture or an exhibition in a beautiful building. But a creative way of seeing can begin much closer to home.

The beauty in small details

Consider the curve of a ceramic cup, the pattern of shadows through a window or the way vegetables are arranged at a market. Shapes, light, rhythm and texture are everywhere, even when nobody planned them as art.

Artists often borrow from these everyday observations. A familiar object becomes fascinating when its lines, colors or proportions are noticed with fresh eyes.

Practice the art of noticing

Choose one ordinary object near you and look at it for a full minute. Notice the light, the negative space around it and the little imperfections that give it character. You might discover that inspiration isn't something you have to search far to find.
